When You're in a Difficult Situation: Cry Out to God

Matthew 5:4Blessed are they that mourn (cry out to God in prayer) for they shall be comforted. (They will receive a miracle).

The Bible teaches us to cry out to God.Crying to God for transformation, miracles and a change. When you're facing difficulties, cry to God for help. God promises to hear you and answer you.

God hears the cry of His people.

I remember when my boys were young, every few minutes they were crying out for me to help them. Most days went like this... "He hit me...I can’t find my my shoes." and "I am hungry, he took my toy and I am thirsty."This was my dream family and I loved to care for them. But sometimes I wasn’t speedy at answering their cry.One Saturday morning I was washing the breakfast dishes and I could hear the boys calling me from the backyard. They had made a couple dirt mounts and were riding their bikes over these little hills. They kept asking me to come and watch them and of course I said in a minute when I finished the dishes.I could hear them in the distance laughing, and all of sudden one of them yelled out with a cry, “Mommy, help!”When I heard that cry I almost broke down the back door trying to get to him. I knew that cry meant something was really wrong. Outside, I found one my sons had crashed his bike and he was laying on the ground with the bike on top of him.Thankfully he only had a scratch & bloody knee.I carried him into the house, and comforted him with bandages, prayer, kisses, hugs and popsicles. All was good again. This is how God is with us when He hears our cry for help. God will break down the door to get to you and answer your prayer. God loves you and is wanting to give you supernatural miracles, because you are His child. He promised to answer you when you cry to Him.Memorize this verse, pray it and quote it.

Matthew 5:4 Blessed (happy) are those who mourn (cry out to God for help) they will be comforted. (God will answer them).

There is a story in the Bible about a woman named Hannah who was deeply unhappy because she was unable to get pregnant. She was ridiculed for inability to have a child. Hannah attended church, shared her need, and continued to pray and cry out to God for a child. God of course, answered her prayers and she had a son. She named the baby Samuel, and he became a famous pastor.Hannah's story is the example that God plans for us to follow. He wants us to be like Hannah- go to church, ask for prayer, keep praying and crying out to Him until we receive our miracle. There are many scriptures about crying out to God for miracles. Here are a few:
Ps. 34:8 This poor man cried, and the LORD heard him And saved him out of all his troubles.

Lam. 2:18 Their heart cried out to the Lord, ...Let your tears run down like a river day and night; Give yourself no relief, Let your eyes have no rest.

Isa. 62:7 Give the LORD no rest until he completes his work...

Are you crying out to God? Let us pray with you.Love you,Tami McKinney
