It is time to secure your success.I promise you that daily prayer will move you into all the right places and move out the destructive lies hindering you. Jesus was the greatest man who ever lived and His success was attributed to his daily prayer life. The men who followed Jesus recognized His unceasing triumph and asked Jesus to teach them how to pray. When they learned to pray they literally turned the world upside down. In Luke 11:1 Jesus gave them a model of how to pray. Jesus wants us to learn how to pray daily so that we can guarantee a valuable future. Over 45 years ago my husband and I began to pray daily. We learned this prayer pattern from a former pastor, Larry Lee. I wanted to share this prayer guide with you that I have revised over the years.

The Daily Prayer --Matthew 6: 9-13 NLT

Our Father in heaven, may your name be kept holy. 

Key Thought: Praise God for Who He Is and What He Has Done. Having God’s presence is the most important part of any prayer. Praise brings God’s presence. Scripture: Psalms 92:5 BSB - …enter His presence with thanksgiving. Prayer: Thank you, God, for being my dad. Thank you, Jesu,s for your mercy, love and kindness. Thank you for being my Savior, dying on the cross for my mistakes, failures and sins. Thank you for being my Healer, Provider, Peace, Banner, Shepherd and Protector. I have nothing to fear because you are always with me. Thank you that I am blessed!

May your Kingdom come soon. May your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. 

Key Thought: Pray for God’s will to done in your family, marriage, children, church, friends, Friends Group, and your political and spiritual leaders. Surrender everything in your life to Jesus. Scripture: Psalms 103:19 NIV - The LORD has established his throne in heaven, and his kingdom rules over all. Prayer: Jesus, have your will in my life today. I pray your kingdom and rulership of righteousness, peace and joy would come to me, my marriage, family and church friends. I yield my will and life to your plans, I surrender my thoughts, schedule, finances and actions to fulfill your good purposes. I submit my will to God in all circumstances! 

Give us today the food we need

Key Thought: Believe God is a good dad and His desire is to bless you  - just as you are a good parent and you desire to bless your children. Make a long list of your needs and consistently ask God in prayer for supernatural answers. Scripture: James 4:2 GNT - You do not have what you want because you do not ask God for it. Prayer: God, thank you for providing everything I need. I ask you for healing, health, financial provision, protection, favor, miracles, direction, peace, happiness, wisdom, success, help and blessings. Thank you for answering my prayers. I declare God is good!

Forgive us our sins, as we have forgiven those who have sin against us.

Key Thought: Because we all make mistakes, it is important to ask Jesus to forgive us of any wrongdoings. Sin can hinder our relationship with Jesus and slowdown answers to our prayers. Scripture: Isaiah 65:24 NKJ - I will answer their prayers before they finish praying. Prayer: Jesus, please forgive me of anything I have done wrong. I receive your forgiveness for all my mistakes, failures and sins. I forgive others for things they have done wrong against me. I proclaim that I am cleansed, sanctified, and righteous because of the blood of Jesus!

And don’t let us yield to temptation, but rescue us from the evil one. 

Key Thought: Put a hedge of protection around yourself, your family, and your church friends. Then put on the full armor of God, and stand against the devil’s schemes. Scripture: Ephesians 6:12 NIV - For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Prayer: I put on the whole armor that I am able to stand my ground against the demonic forces trying to destroy me, my family, and my church friends. I put on the helmet of salvation, my thoughts, mind and emotions are covered and protected by the Word of God. I put on the breastplate of righteousness, I declare I am clothed in righteousness, I am in right relationship with God and others. I put on the belt of truth, I will walk in the truth of the Bible  - not cultures truths. I put on the shoes of peace, I will walk in peace and not give in to stress. I take hold of the shield of faith and the sword of the spirit  and I declare- I will speak the scriptures to all my circumstances quenching every destructive lie the devil tells me. I say, "In the name of Jesus, the Lord rebuke you, demons of hell, get out of my house and leave me, my family and church friends alone. I speak victory in the name of Jesus!"
