3 Steps To Find A Man

Realize your victory is secured by praying His Word!
Acts 6:4 … we will devote ourselves to prayer and to the Word.
I was growing older and I was still single, all my friends were married and starting families. My number one life goal was to get married and be a mom. With no man in sight, I felt unenthusiastic. I often wondered why finding the right guy to marry was so easy for some and harder for others. Why wasn’t Jesus answering my prayer? Where was the husband for me? I was at the time in my life all I could think about was marrying a great man. I longed to get married.
I prayed and cried out to God night after night, month after month, and year after year - yet I never even had a date with a Christian man. Many unchurched men would ask me out but I knew God wanted me to obey His Word and not be married to a nonbeliever. Many nice guys - good-looking, educated, and lots of money were interested in me but they didn’t love Jesus.
I kept thinking of the Bible verse in 2 Corinthians 6:14, “Stop forming inappropriate relationships with unbelievers. Can right and wrong be partners? Can light have anything in common with darkness?”
I knew it was not God’s will for me to date an unbeliever or a man who was not fully surrendered to Christ. I finally decided in my heart even if I were never to meet and marry a godly man I would not compromise this principle of being with an unbeliever. I would serve Jesus with my whole heart no matter if I got what I wanted or if I never received what I wanted. I was learning to trust Jesus in my non-dating years. I told Jesus you have my whole heart and I will only give that heart to a man you choose for me.
Rom 8:37 No, in all these things we have complete victory through him who loved us!
I continued to pray daily and hold onto the word for a husband who was sold out for Jesus and had fruit to show for his faith in God. Years later I would meet a godly man and we would marry and start our family. YES! God fulfilled my dream and gave me a miracle!
Maybe you are being tempted to compromise the truth and principles you know to be true from God's Word. You say to yourself, “It’s ok to make compromises if I am not hurting anyone, it is just a little lie, it is a light sexual interaction with my boyfriend is ok because we plan to get married, looking at pornography or listening to sexual music isn’t that bad, it doesn’t really bother me or gossip and complaining is my only bad vice, it is just who I am.”
I want to encourage you that your victory is found in hearing and obeying His Word. Secure A Victory! Realize your victory is secured in prayer and His Word! Acts 6:4 … we will devote ourselves to prayer and to the word.
Go Over The Top!
Speaking His Words takes you over the top and will never leave you at the bottom.
Deut 28:13-14: God will lavish you with good things ... God will throw open the doors of his sky vaults and pour rain on your land … and bless the work you take in hand. …God will make you the head, not the tail; you’ll always be the top dog, never the bottom dog…
I went to Las Vegas for a Christian Conference with some friends. I decided to find the most incredible place for us to bond, I wanted to create a memory that would last a lifetime. I was super excited when I landed on an idea, we would all go on a monster roller coaster (the most fearful ride). I surprised them with the ride so they wouldn’t chicken out. Yes of course, on the ride we screamed and felt the fear. We still talk about it like it happened yesterday. Now I am sure, you would never want to have a girls weekend with me. Hahaha. On that ride I had a secret I kept saying, “I am not afraid. This is fun.” And to my surprise – I wasn’t fearful. I laugh and had a fun time. I am not saying I want to do it again.
Speaking God’s promises over negative and impossible circumstances will bring you victory and a life full of triumph. Speaking His Words will stop the fear and bring the promise. Our Words must line up with the scriptures to make us undefeatable. His Words make you win every time. With His Words, you enter every battle a winner. Speaking His Words bring you victory where speaking your words could defeat or limit you.
We cannot look at hard situations with our own minds, we must see it through the lens of His Words. We must learn to discipline ourselves never to look at the circumstances through our eyes but see it through God’s eyes. The Bible tells us how to overcome any and all difficulties.
You want God to answer your prayers? Then speak His Word. Say, “I will get married, I will have children, we will buy a house, finish our education, serve and love Jesus and help others.” Congratulations! You’re on your way to making your dreams happen.
Deut. 28:14 The LORD will make you the head and not the tail, and you will always end up at the top and not at the bottom if you obey his commandments which I am urging you today to be careful to do.
Speak your way to the top by using His Words and stop living at the bottom.
Unstoppable Tipping Point
The Bible gives us these Tipping Point verses. Tipping Point verses give you the upper edge. The Tipping Point is what makes you a winner, not a whiner. The Tipping Point makes you unstoppable.
Ps 91:15. Call on me in your day of trouble and I will answer you and show you great and mighty things
Let these verses make you unstoppable…
Nothing is impossible for God. ( Matt 19:26)
We can do all things through Christ who strengthens us. (Phil 4:13)
For no word from God will ever fail. (Luke 1:37)
...if God is for us who can be against us? (Rom 8:31)
...truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven. (Matt 18:19)
The blessings of the Lord make us rich and adds no sorrow with it. (Prov 10:22)
No weapon form against us will prosper ( Isa 54:17)
We are the head and not the tail ( Duet 28:13)
We are above and nor beneath (Deut 28:13b)
All things are working together for our good ( Rom 8:28)
God gives us the power to get wealth ( Duet 8:18)
God heals all our diseases (Ps 102:3)
He crowns our lives with loving kindness ( Ps 103:4)
He forgives all our iniquities( Ps 103:3)
He loves us with an everlasting love (Jer 33:3)
I want to encourage you to say thank you to Jesus. I have only named 15 scriptures of promise… we have 7,000 promises in the Bible to claim. The Bible is our treasure chest filled with gold, rubies, and diamonds. Every word is priceless and powerful. Breakthrough is coming. Secure your victory. God is taking us to a flourishing finish. If your situation isn’t flourishing it is because you are not finished. Before you get to the finish line start the “Congratulations”.
