3 Steps To Receive a Promised Miracle - Part 1 of 3

Part One of Three Steps

We all have things we are believing that God will do in our lives. We have many dreams and miracles we would like to happen. Maybe your dream is to start a new business, buy a home or have a baby? Sometimes you might wonder, “How can I receive these miracles? How can I connect with God so He will answer my prayers and fulfill my dreams?” Hebrews 10:23 gives us three steps to take to receive a promised miracle, let’s start with step one together.

Hebrews 10:23 (WENT) says… We must hold on to God's promise that we have said we believed. And we must never let go. He has promised and he will do it.

1. Don’t Doubt God’s Word

Hebrews 10:23 says… We must hold on to God's promise

When I was a baby my parents were divorced and I lived with my mother. One Christmas, when I was about seven, my dad promised to visit me and bring me a pair of white roller skates. I was so excited to see my dad because my heart yearned to be with him. I got dressed up and waited. I remember I kept going out to the front porch all day to see if his car was coming up the road. That day my dad never came. I felt uncared for and sad.  As a little girl, I loved my dad so much and I easily forgave him.

Most of us have faced these kinds of disappointing moments. It might be difficult for you to trust God if have you experienced a disappointment like I did with my dad. But God wants to remind us He will answer our prayers but we must hold on to God’s promise. The Bible teaches us that God is our Dad, we are to pray and read our Bible’s daily to understand the blessings, abundances, and prosperity God-Dad has planned to give us. God has put desires and dreams in us that are impossible to attain without him: to see our child break that addiction, to find an amazing guy and married him, or to write that book or song. These are huge God-given dreams that we need Him to help us bring to fruition. Don’t give in to doubt and speak negative words. Adopt some positive phases and speak them to your doubt and fear. Let positive speech wash, refresh and reset your mind. God is good and good things are on the way! The next time doubt shows up speak to yourself…

GOD WILL SHOW UP AND ANSWER ME!

I speak his word to doubt and fear.
I hold tightly to God’s word.
I refuse to waver when it comes to his word.
I replace unbelief with the word of God.
I trust God to keep His promises.
I will not doubt God and His Word.
I will hold on to God’s promises.

Next week I will share the next step to receiving promised miracles. Let us know what scripture helped you overcome doubt?

We are praying for you. Please share with us your prayer request and continue to pray for my husband Jerry fighting side effects from chemotherapy. He does not have cancer but he is doing chemotherapy as a preventative. He has only a few more treatments and we are praying he will be strong, joyful, and at peace. We love you and thank you for your prayers.
