It’s Time For You To Win

Me

All through our lives we all will endure problems, because of the sin and brokenness of this world. So why am I still surprised when life brings me hardships?Adam and Eve were told in Genesis 3:17, “All your life you will struggle”.This verse is telling us too: All of our lives we will face struggles!Facing constant problems in my life just makes me want to give up, and leaves me feeling discouraged, anxious and angry.

GOD'S PLAN IS FOR YOU TO WIN

You win by taking ahold of Jesus:

Pray

Pray until Jesus answers you and blesses you.

Read

Read your Bible. Journal Bible verses that encourage you. Then take those verses of scripture and pray them over your life and circumstances. Keep speaking them over yourself all day long. If you wake up at night, train your mind to say and pray your scriptures.

Speak

Speak overcoming words to the things you don’t like and the struggles you face.

Say…

God is bringing me through this tragedy because He loves me. (John 3:16)

I am stronger then this problem. God is my strength and a very present help in time of need. (Ps 46:1)

I do not need to have fear or worry because God is in control… working everything together for my good. (Rom 8:28)

I can have joy and smile in the mist of this trouble. I will not be discouraged or depressed.  If God is for me who can stop me? (Rom 8:31)

OUR PRAYERS SHOULD FOCUS ON WINNING

The story of Jacob shows us how to struggle with God and win. (Genesis 32:24)In this passage of scripture, Jacob is wrestling all night with God. Finally in the morning God tells Jacob to let go of him, but Jacob says I will not let go until you bless me. God asks Jacob his name. Jacob says my name is deceiver, cheater, manipulator and controller. But God did not want Jacob to call himself that anymore. So He gave him a new name. He said, "From now on you will not be called a liar. Your new name and your new identity will be Israel, meaning leader or prince with God."God tells Jacob, "You have wrestled with God and you have won. I will bless you and give you victory and breakthrough miracles. I will change your circumstances supernaturally."So how do we struggle with God and WIN?It’s really simple:Pray. And don’t give up.Just like Jacob, don’t let go.

SOMETIMES WE NEED OTHERS TO WIN

Pray with your friend group (and BE HONEST).

Don’t hold back what’s really going on. Be honest and give your friend group many months to bombard heaven with you in prayer for miracles. Don’t stop until you have the supernatural win. Jesus prayed 40 days in the wilderness and came out performing miracles.

Pray with a care pastor on Sunday morning at 8AM (and HAVE COFFEE!).

There is no better way to start your morning than with coffee and prayer. Our Care Pastors are going to pray over you scriptures and encouraging words that will build you up. Their prayers and encouragement will break off depression, anxiety and give you joy and peace. Keep coming for prayer every Sunday @ 8am until you experience the WIN!

You win by never giving up

Everyday believe that God cares for you and that you are never struggling alone. God is with you in the struggle… giving you energy, strength and courage to overcome every difficulty.

Psalm 138:3 As soon as I prayed, God sent the answer. Giving me strength and courage (energy).

When you have a disagreement with your coworker, spouse or kids this is the time to struggle with God in prayer. Ask Him for strength to be kind and understanding while waiting for the relationship to be repaired. When your friends, your children or people you are mentoring won’t listen to your godly wisdom and it hurts you because they are making poor decisions; This is the time again struggle with God in prayer.  Ask Him for energy & joy, so you can keep encouraging them for their breakthrough. When you’re overwhelmed with a huge bill, a continually sickness or ongoing stress, struggle with God in prayer. Ask Him for courage to overcome the problems and stay in peace while waiting for the answer. So instead of crying to God to remove this struggle, what if we cried out to Him and say… THANK YOU JESUS, for giving me strength, energy and courage to get through this struggle.

Now You know how to wrestle with God and win.

Love you!
