God’s Business Is Miracles
I grew up praying for miracles because my grandmother and mother were women who saw miracles happen in their lives. I was so thankful when I came to The City Church and they were teaching, believing and praying for miracles. I love seeing God do the impossible.
When God Makes the Impossible Happen -It's a Miracle!
God’s desire is that we experience miracles! God has miraculous, supernatural unlimited power. God knows everything and God is everywhere because He transcends time. Since the beginning of time God has planned miracles for us. God is in the business of miracles. It is the family business and we are a part of the family. God wants to do miracles for you and through you.How do you get a miracle when you face difficulties?
First, believe God can do miracles. Luke 18:27 says, “The things impossible with men are possible with God.”
Second, ask Jesus for a miracle. In Eph 3:20 God tells us we must ask for the miracle. “…He is able to do so much more than we can ever ask for, or even think of.”
Third, take hold of a scripture that reminds you that God wants to give you a miracle. (This is how I gain confidence for the miracle, I ask God for what He has already promised). In Job 5:9 it says “…to his miracles there is no end.” If we could really get a hold of that truth, we would live filled with power and receive miracles.
These three scriptures are telling us how to get a miracle. Believe God can give you a miracle, pray to God for a miracle, and keep speaking his promises until you receive the miracle!
Recently God used me to help a woman get a miracle. She approached me at church and told me that her landlord had given her a notice to vacate the home she had lived in for many years. She had spent weeks and weeks looking for a new place but so far nothing matched her price range and other requirements she was hoping for. She felt this was an impossible situation and she was crying and feeling desperate. She asked if I would pray that she would find something soon. As I began to pray my mind went to the word of God. “Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?” With Matthew 6:26 in my spirit I felt confident God was going to give her a miracle, my confidence came from the word of God.This is what Paul was talking about in 1 Corinthians 12:10: “He gives …(a) person the power to perform miracles…”A couple Sundays later my friend came to tell me her exciting news. The Sunday after we prayed she found the perfect place that not only fit her budget but every one of the other things she was looking for! It was a miracle!
I have been on the receiving end of those miracle prayers as well. God has used many friends to pray for me and I have received countless miracles in my own life! God has given me miracle favor in court, a miraculous physical healing for my son, miracle money, miraculous healing for my broken heart, and so many more! And everyone of those prayers had a Bible verse attached to it. What miracle are you believing for? I would love to hear about it so we pray together! Believer of Miracles,Rocio OrdunoPS. Here are a couple of my favorite verses for you to hold on to!
When they call on me I will answer, I will be with them in trouble. I will rescue and honor them. Psalm 91:15
I thank you for answering my prayer and giving me victory! Psalm 118:21
Keep on asking and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking and you will find, keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you. Matthew 7:7
