Anxiety ruins lives. Let's go from apprehension to confidence in one day!Philippians 4:6-7 The Message (MSG) Don’t fret or worry. (Don’t be anxious) Instead of worrying, pray. Let petitions and praises shape your worries into prayers, letting God know your concerns. Before you know it, a sense of God’s wholeness, everything coming together for good, will come and settle you down. It’s wonderful what happens when Christ displaces worry at the center of your life.Anxiety can make you feel powerless. It can leave you overwhelmed, fearful, fatigued, irritable, sleepless, difficulty concentrating, and with muscle & joint pain. Anxiety is when we feel worried or fearful about a future event. Anxiety comes from within us and can be stopped. You can overcome this. You can get your power back and overcome the feelings of anxiety.

Here Is How To Overcome And Prevent Anxiety In 5 Easy Steps:

1. Start your day with feeding your mind one positive thought.

Every morning have a 15-minute devotional time: Read a chapter from the Bible, write down one good thought it is speaking to you, pray and tell God what you hope He will do in you with that thought and think about that good thought all day long. Here is mine:

Verse: Romans 8:28 - All things work together for good…

Thought: My situation seems impossible but I choose to believe God’s Word.

Prayer: God, I am facing the worst trial of my life. Every time I am reminded of this situation, I will not be worried and anxious instead I will praise You … You are working it all together for good. I will thank God!

2. When you are driving to work tell Siri to text three people a word of thanks.

Nothing upgrades your mood faster than a THANK YOU!

Say to your team: "I appreciate your work on this project." "I know we will get this done." "Thank you for your effort."

Say to a friend or family member: "I am grateful for your loyalty, support and encouragement.”

Never allow your mind to ponder on negative defeating thoughts instead contemplate on who has helped you get where you are and say, "Thank you!" Think about how great you are because of God putting the right people in your life!

1 Thessalonians 5:11 - Therefore encourage one another and build one another up.

3. Always take a 20 minute walk-talk with Jesus at lunch time.

On your walk-talk with Jesus, remember that He is the Top Counselor and Physician in the world and it costs you nothing. Put on some tennis shoes, bundle up and get outside, and set your watch for one mile. It only takes twenty minutes to boost your confidence. This talk with Jesus will make you feel strong and ready to manage any difficulties of the day.

On your walk meditate on a list of ten things you are thankful for and then give thanks for each one. When your meditating on positive things you create new pathways of thinking, experiencing fresh joy, peace, contentment and clarity to solve problems.  Meditation is not going blank. Meditation is purposely thinking about good, fulfilling and relaxing thoughts. In twenty minutes you will be reenergized, revived and invigorated. Everyone around you will be attracted to your positive and powerful deposition.

James 1:17 - Everything good comes from God.

4. Rejuvenate on your drive home.

Driving home from work is the best twenty to thirty minutes to rejuvenate. Here are three awe-inspiring ways to choose from:

  1. Music - it restores your positive mental health and brings your brain into harmony & alinement.

  2. Listening to a sermon - it will quicken your spirit, build you up and make you strong emotionally.

  3. Call a friend - call someone who will inspire you, praise you or you call someone and encourage them. This will make you feel fantastic.

During the day you put out a lot of energy at home, work or school. Now replenish yourself– fill yourself back up with positive words -don’t go home on empty. We are responsible for our own happiness. Take this part of your day to focus on revitalizing yourself, then you will feel valued, loved and important!

1 Peter 5:10 - Christ, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you.

5. Before falling asleep at night thank Jesus.

Always take those last minutes you have before falling asleep at night to thank Jesus. Praise Jesus for all the good things He has done for you, His protection, provision, direction, and comfort. Worship God for His salvation, faithfulness, holiness and justification. Expressing gratitude to God helps you to relax and sleep better too.

1 Thessalonians 5:18 - Give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you…
