I Am Kind

God wants to commend you for your kindness. You are so very kind! The people of God are probably the kindest people on the earth today. You are kind to your husband, children, church friends, family, and neighbors. We are all blessed to have you as a part of our lives. I know the power of kindness because I have been the recipient of kind, loving and generous church friends for years! Thank you, City Church.

I have been experiencing a family crisis these past few years. It has been hurtful, discouraging, and tragic all at the same time. I know many of us are facing struggles. Many times a day I have to fight off anxiety, condemnation, stress, and tension. Without Jesus, the church, and my small group – I wouldn’t make it. I have been supported by kind Christian women who show me love and value. It has been their kind words and actions over the years that made the difference of me being crushed, destroyed, or broken to being strong and confident in God’s promises. My small group women have been kind, meeting together weekly, giving me scriptures, prayer time, hugs, and smiles! Constantly reminding me with their kindness that I am strong, an overcomer, a victor not a victim.

God really loves kindness and kind people because He is so kind. No wonder everyone loves you so much because you are kind, just like Jesus. You are amazing – people love kind people!

YES, YOU ARE KIND! God has made you kind in His image. God is filled with kindness towards everyone, He has extended His kindness to animals, plants, and all of creation. Creation reveals His kindness. Titus 3:4 says, God our Savior, …revealed his kindness and love.

Our Christian leadership should be marked with kindness. The Bible instructs women in Proverbs 31 to show, share and teach kindness. Proverbs 31:26 says …tell women to have the instruction of kindness on their tongue, giving counsel, teaching and wisdom. When you talk, be an expert in kindness, skilled, godly, bathed in goodness and kind words. Proverbs 31:26 says … when she speaks her words are wise, and she gives instructions with kindness. Godly women give instruction with kindness and plan well-ordered words of kindness.  Jesus is the greatest person who ever lived, who impacted the world by His kindness and it was His kindness that made Him world-famous. You Can Be Great In Your World Too, By Being Kind!

Smart women are kind. Their kindness brings a willingness to their children to listen and obey them. Their kindness brings peace and confidence to their worn-out and hurting husband. Their constant kindness brings healing, sweetness, and mental health to all they interact with daily. According to Proverbs 16:24 Kind words are like honey-sweet to the soul and healthy for the body.

Wow, think about it, your kind words heals physical sickness and mental health. Your kind words will cheer them up, take away their depression, anger, anxiety and make them feel strong, healthy, and confident. Ask yourself who can you make strong, confident, and healthy today with your wise, constructive, and caring kindness?

The big deal about kindness is that you are forgiving. Some people are not always kind, you show them kindness and they are rude in return. But as Christian women, we are kind and forgiving towards them anyways. It is just who you are a kind and giving person. God tells us in Ephesians 4:32 Be kind ...forgiving others. No wonder everyone loves you so much. And God can trust you with His favor, blessings, and prosperity because you are kind and not haughty. You see all people and brighten their life with kindness.

God really loves kindness and kind people because He is so kind. You are an amazingly kind woman. Our desire for the women in the City Church is to be kind and loving. God said our church would be known for its love. One of the main actions for demonstrating love is to act in kindness. 1 Corinthians 13:4 says… Love is kind. A really loving person is a kind person. When someone loves you they will show it to you by kindness. Colossians 3:12 …dearly loved, clothe yourselves with… kindness.  I am thankful I have experienced true kindness from godly women.

We all value and appreciate your friendship with the women on this blog, you are constantly showing your support, encouragement, and kindness. When we show kindness, we like ourselves better.

You are kind!

Share with us how you got an opportunity to show kindness to a church friend.
