FAME Women, Merry Christmas!

I love you all so much and it is my privilege to be a part of your life. Thank you for all your participation in 2020; We couldn’t do all we have done for women and their families in need without your help. Your giving has done so much this year - check out all the highlights here.

I know this is our last blog of 2020 and I wanted to share with you, one of my journeys I have been on this past year.

Last September we found out my husband had cancer.  It was shocking news for me and heartbreaking news for him. Jerry cried out to God and he heard God speak to him… 2 Chronicles 32:24 About that time Hezekiah became deathly ill. He prayed to the LORD, who healed him and gave him a miraculous sign. From that time on, Jerry felt Jesus would heal him. 

Soon after being diagnosed, Jerry had surgery and the doctor said they had removed all cancer. We rejoiced in this news…Jerry was cancer-free. Our faith-based doctor recommended chemotherapy for the next six months to guarantee cancer would not be able to return. We started the treatments last month and hope to complete them soon. 

When I prayed and asked God what I could do to help my husband to receive his healing. God spoke to me from. Ephesians 6:18 …God’s Word is an indispensable weapon. In the same way, prayer is essential in this ongoing warfare. Pray hard and long. 

I began my journey of praying hard and long to save my husband’s life. 

And I was so thankful, I could have cried, when I heard about you all joining me for the next six months, praying and fasting for “21 Wednesdays”! 

I am overwhelmed by your friendship and love. Thank You!

I know pray brings miracles. 

James 5:15 says… Prayer that comes from faith will heal the sick, for the Lord will restore them to health. 

I believe praying scriptures will save Jerry’s life. It doesn’t matter how we feel or how much strength we have or what we think when it comes to our ability to believe God to heal PJ. Our faith and trust in God’s ability and His Word are what bring the miraculous healing power. We are believing and trusting in God’s word to bring healing. 

Our job is to keep speaking God’s words back to him in prayer…and it is God’s job to perform a miraculous healing in response to our declarations. 

We Declare His Powerful and Miraculous Word and He Response and Performs a Miracle.
