My 2021 Dream - Part One
John 16:13-14 TPT
… the Spirit …he will reveal prophetically to you what is to come.
Last year I got together with my church Friends Group and we shared our dreams and a scripture verse for 2020. We then committed to pray for each other until OUR MIRACLES happened.
After faithfully praying for the entire year for each other’s dreams, we decided to meet together with a candlelight gathering sharing and celebrating our 2020 miracles.
At our celebration together we laughed, applauded, and cheered as each of us shared our miraculous stories of 2020. A single mom in our group told us her story of losing 40 pounds last year and getting a handsome godly boyfriend. Another friend in our group husband‘s got an amazing job after losing his this past year because of COVID and not working for a couple of months. I loved the many stories… a marriage was repaired and now is strong, a woman who was facing undesired heartbreak overcame it with grace, kindness, and maturity. Other great miracle stories included a major lawsuit being dropped against their family business, or a husband who got his passion back again after being hurt by family members. I loved the story of one woman who finally secured her perfect job and dream home. Or my own story of my husband being healed of cancer and now PJ is cancer-free!
Thank you to Jesus for all these powerful miracles. We each had a dream of God doing a miracle for us in 2020. We each found a verse or two which we prayed all year long together until our dreams came true. We received so many miracles in answer to our prayers. The entire year we spend time together praying, worshiping, taking communion, reading scriptures, anointing ourselves with oil, declaring it happened, and encouraging each other. Praying hard and long the whole year of 2020! Just like the Bible tells us in Ephesians 6:18 Be prepared. You’re up against far more than you can handle on your own. Take all the help you can get… God’s Word is an indispensable weapon. In the same way, prayer is essential in this ongoing warfare. Pray hard and long. …Keep each other’s spirits up so that no one falls behind or drops out.
Last year was filled with wonderful miracles for many of us. We would love to hear the story of your miracle in 2020. First, I want to encourage you to take a moment before the year ends, to write out a list of ten things you are thankful for in 2020. Maybe tell us a few. Here are some of mine: I am thankful my husband, Jerry was healed from cancer! I am praising God because Jerry does not have cancer!!! Thank You, Jesus! I am thankful for you in my life and I am thankful for those of you who are praying with me weekly for “21 Wednesdays” during Jerry’s chemotherapy treatments. If you haven’t already joined us praying “21 Wednesdays,” you can join now by clicking here.
Second I want to encourage you to write down your 2021 DREAM and ask God for a scripture verse to confirm it. Then ask your Friends Group to stand with you in prayer this year and watch the miracles happen.
John 16:13-14 TPT …he will reveal prophetically to you what is to come.
Share with us your answers to prayer in 2020! We love you and can’t wait to hear about your life.
Happy New Year!
