3 Steps To Receive a Promised Miracle - Part 2 of 3

Part Two of Three Steps

Hebrews 10:23 (WENT) says… We must hold on to God's promise that we have said we believed. And we must never let go. He has promised and he will do it.

Good News! It is a miracle! I love hearing these five words. I am part of one of the small groups in our church we have been praying and studying the Bible together for years. We use the words “Good News! It is a miracle!”,  all the time because we have seen many miracles in our group, business financial turnaround, purchase of a new home, college scholarship, husband freedom from an addiction, a single mom getting married, an infertile couple pregnant, a child surrendering to Jesus, a marriage reunited, and miraculous healings. I am thankful to have trusted friends, who share the same hope for miracles and we actually see them happen. In this group, I don’t need to be silent and apologize for my dreams. We support each other’s hopes with scriptures, songs, declarations, prophetic words, and visions.

God has planned and prepared miracles with your name on them. John 14:12 says, “Greater works than these you shall do.”  Jesus tells us to pray for miracles in John 14:13, “Whatever you ask in my name…I will do.” The Holy Spirit is performing miracles in Acts 10:38, “Jesus…with The Holy Spirit power…went about healing all.”

Hebrews 10:23 gives us three steps to receiving the tangible miracle we are hoping for.  Hebrews 10:23 (WENT) says… We must hold on to God's promise that we have said we believed. And we must never let go. He has promised and he will do it.

Step One:Don’t Doubt God’s Word”!  Hebrews 10:23 says, “We must hold on to God’s promises.” You can read it in our last blog here.

Step Two: “Don’t Be Silent”! Hebrews 10:23 says, “We have said we believed.”  We have faith and we say it. We are certain and we say it. We have confidence in His Word and we say it. The key to receiving a miracle is we must say it, speak it - don’t be silent - say it over and over again in your heart and mind.

STEP TWO: DON’T BE SILENT

When we believe in something - we say it.  We all have dreams and things we are hoping for. Your first step is to get a scriptural promise and your second step is to take that scripture promise and speak it to yourself. You can speak the truth in your heart, mind, or in your mouth. Every time you hear the lies of the devil saying that, “God isn’t working things out for you. It has been so long that it will never happen for you. You will never break the addiction. You will never get married. You will never buy a new home.” - remember God has given you a promise in His Word! Don’t be silent! Speak up! Tell yourself, “I will trust God, and see His promise fulfilled.” Let’s encourage each other to never give up and keep speaking His Word.

God has made many promises to us in His Word. A school teacher from Canada named Everett Storms found 8,810 promises in the Bible it took him a year and a half. God promised us, provision, protection, strength, guidance, salvation, power, wisdom, answers, love, joy, peace, and much more. With so many promises we can see how much God loves and cares for us.

Hebrew 10:23 it is telling us to hold on tightly to a promise we find in God’s word, keep speaking it, and don’t be silent.

JESUS SPEAKS VICTORY OVER MY SITUATION AND SO DO I

I will speak God’s good promises over fear and doubt.
In the face of debt - I will keep speaking abundance.
In the face of set back - I will keep speaking favor and blessings.
In the case of an off-track child  - I will keep speaking restoration.
I will affirm that God is able to give me victory in every area.
So now I wrap my heart tightly around the hope that lives within me.
I declare my faith in God who can do all things.
Faith is the atmosphere that God can work in.
I make the atmosphere with what I say. God does the miracle.

Hebrews 10:23 (WE/NT)  We must hold on to God's promise that we have said we believed. And we must never let go. He has promised and he will do it.

Next week I will share the next step to receiving a miracle.

Share with us your miracle so we can pray with you!
